Night Of The Stars 2010 A Huge Hit!
The Local Education Activities Foundation, (LEAF) annual Night of the Stars benefit for student activities in our District 742 St. Cloud Area Public Schools was held Friday, February 12th and Saturday, February 13th. The variety show staged at St. Cloud’s Historic Paramount Theatre featured a variety of student acts including selections from the Apollo musical, solo performances, African dance and the St. Cloud All-City Winter Drumline.
The Friday evening performance emcees were Bob Hughes from WJON and a special guest, Minnesota State Senator Taryl Clark. The Saturday evening performances were emceed by Jen Jacobs and Ty James from Mix 94.9.

The numbers aren't yet in, but it looks like this year's auction may have surpassed previous Night of the Stars silent auction events.
Gallery 742 – Student And Staff Art Exhibition and Sale
The addition this year of a District 742 student and staff art exhibition and sale made Night of the Stars 2010 the most comprehensive “arts” experience of the year! Gallery 742 featured drawings, paintings, sculptures and other original items created by District 742 students and staff. All of the works were available to purchase to support the mission of LEAF. Thanks to the talented artists and generous art lovers!
