2009-1020 LEAF Grants Total $52,650 – April, 2010
The District 742 Local Education Activities Foundation (LEAF) announced its final grants for the 2009-10 school year on Wednesday, April 21. For the first time, LEAF awarded grants from two funds: The Academic Opportunities & Achievement Fund and the Student Activities Fund. A total of $20,860 was granted in LEAF’s spring, Cycle II and contingency grants. The grants were given to a total of 23 academic and extracurricular K-12 programs.
For the 2009-2010 school year, LEAF has granted a total of $52,650.00 to the K-12 academic and student activities program in District 742 through its twice-yearly grant cycles, ticket surcharge return and Night of the Stars ticket sales grants.
