Endowment Funds
The LEAF Board recognizes that we would be unable to fulfill our Mission of supporting District 742 academic opportunities and student activities without the charitable donations of concerned citiziens.
You may contribute to LEAF through gifts of cash, estate planning, life insurance and trusts. You may also designate your United Way contribution to LEAF.
LEAF’s annual fundraiser, Night of the Stars, provides another opportunity to support LEAF and its mission.
LEAF is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and contributions are tax deductible.
Academic Achievement Fund
Funding targets a broad range of projects or interests. Consideration is given to projects which promote increased academic achievement. Projects which expand learning opportunities, develop high student expectations for success, and increase parent/community involvement in learning are viewed favorably. Programs and projects which are creative, innovative, and can be replicated elsewhere in the District are also viewed favorably, as are those that show an effort to pursue other sources of funding.

Activities Fund
Studies clearly show that participation in extracurricular activities provides both immediate and long range benefits to the student and produces collateral value for the community. Participation cultivates lifelong lessons such as motivation, discipline, cooperation, and organization.
